David Blaine fails, but survives May 8, 2006

Posted by Administrator in News.

David Blaine tried his luck and skill today in the bubble, but could no longer hold his breath anymore at 7:08 into it. His breath started to burst out of his lungs and he started to shake all over. The emergency divers jumped in right away and rescued him. He was convulsing a bit, but after breathing oxygen for a few minutes, his body calmed down. He was up and actually talking to the crowd within 10 minutes. He tried his best, and came out with a grueling 7:08, not quite the record he was going for, a terrible 9:00. He still came out with the record for the longest consecutive time spent underwater. At least he didn't drown.
