Three dolphins were found dead in northern Bulgaria near the Black Sea. The three bodies were found near the village of Bliznatsi and the Chernomorets hut. Two of the three dolphins had their fins cut off. The bodies were found over the weekend. Dolphins are a heavily protected species in Bulgaria, and killing one comes with a hefty fine. The people responsible for this have not yet been found. The species of dolphin was not identified in the article.

A week ago, 26 dead dolphins washed ashore. Eco-authorities think that the dolphins drowned after being caught in fishermen's nets. Then the bodies were just cast back into the ocean.

These incidents are terrible, just like shark finning. One day people will have to pay the price for all the destruction they have caused the ecosystem.
